Armenia plans to open diplomatic office in Cyprus next year
Armenia plans to open a diplomatic office in Cyprus in 2023, Armenian Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus Tigran Mkrtchyan said in an interview to the Public Television of Cyprus.
He expressed the hope that Cyprus would also open a diplomatic representation in Armenia in the near future, the Armenian Embassy said on Friday.
At a meeting with Michalis Michael, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, Mkrtchyan highlighted long-standing close relations between the two countries, expressing the hope that in the near future it would be possible to open diplomatic missions in the capitals of both countries, Yerevan and Nicosia.
