Japanese trumpeter performs Armenian composer Alexander Arutiunian's music
Japanese trumpeter Mitsukuni Tsujimoto performed renowned Armenian composer Alexander Arutiunian’s “Trumpet Concerto”, among other music pieces, at a concert held in Yokohama on Sunday with the support of the Armenian Embassy in Japan
The reception organized after the concert featured Armenian wines and brandy, the embassy reported on Monday.
Addressing the event, Armenian Ambassador to Japan Areg Hovhannisyan thanked Tsujimoto for organizing the concert, highlighting that the concert was held as part of the events marking the 10th anniversary of Alexander Arutiunian’s death and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Armenia-Japan diplomatic relations.
The diplomat also underscored the continuous strengthening of cultural ties between the Armenian and Japanese peoples through cultural events.
