Talks underway for new Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting, MP says
Talks are being held to arrange a new meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a senior pro-government lawmaker said on Tuesday.
“Active diplomatic efforts have been underway recently. Meetings are being held quite often in various formats,” Eduard Aghajanyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, told reporters.
"As far as I know, negotiations are underway to hold a meeting of the two leaders sometime later, but I can't give specific dates," he added.
