Former MP: NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo includes 40 Armenian soldiers
A total of 40 Armenian troops operate in Kosovo as part of NATO's peacekeeping force deployed in the country, says former opposition Hayastan bloc MP Artur Ghazinyan.
“Two UN resolutions require them, among other functions, to guarantee the free movement of all communities in Kosovo,” he wrote on Facebook late on Sunday.
“The Kosovo police have banned the movement of people with Serbian passports and vehicles with Serbian license plates throughout the country. And there are thousands of Serbs living in northern Kosovo who hold Serbian citizenship and drive cars with Serbian license plates.
"The Kosovo authorities are preparing for ethnic cleansing: they intend to cleanse the north of the indigenous Serbs. It is very interesting to follow the steps of the EU,” Ghazinyan wrote.
