Azerbaijani military again violated ceasefire in Artsakh
Artsakh’s Defense Ministry has reported more ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan in some sections of the line of contact last night.
“Overnight 5 August and as of 9am, the operational situation on the line of contact was relatively stable. Overall, the tension remains. The Azerbaijani units violated the ceasefire in some sections by using firearms,” the ministry said in a statement on Friday, adding the Artsakh military did not suffer losses.
Several servicemen who were wounded in Wednesday’s Azerbaijani attacks have been discharged from medical institutions. Three wounded soldiers remain in serious condition, while another serviceman is in critical condition with some positive dynamics of recovery.
“Measures aimed at further stabilizing the situation continue through the Russian peacekeeping contingent,” the statement said.
