Armenia's crisis management center records 330 emergencies in one week
From August 22 to 28, the National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded a total of 676 cases, of which 330 were emergent.
The number included 251 fires, 1 collapse, 13 suicide attempts, 46 road traffic accidents as well as 172 calls on household issues, the ministry reported on Monday.
A total of 91 people were affected. The crisis management center reported 17 fatalities in one week.
Also, 7 cases of poisoning were registered.
Five vehicles were stranded over the past week due to bad weather conditions or other circumstances. Rescuers rendered assistance to 11 people, taking the five vehicles to a safe place.
