UK ambassador to Armenia bids farewell to departing Chevening Scholars
UK Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher on Thursday hosted a farewell reception for departing Chevening Scholars who have been selected for Master’s degree scholarships at UK universities in 2022-2023, the British Embassy in Yerevan reported.
The ambassador also presented certificates to the seven successful Scholars. He said: “I’m pleased that despite the challenging times the UK Government is supporting future leaders across the world, and especially in Armenia, a nation that attaches great importance to quality education. The range and relevance of the courses you have chosen is truly impressive. Mental health, IT law, fintech, international law and conflict prevention are all areas where the UK has experience to share. I am confident that your future work on these issues will enable Armenia to become an even stronger and more successful country.”
"Our wholehearted congratulations to those Chosenfor Chevening 2022-2023 from Armenia!" the embassy said.
