Opposition MP reports restrictions in visits to Armenia's border outposts
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction has reported strict restrictions in visits to Armenia’s border outposts and military units.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, he dismissed the authorities’ arguments that the restrictions stem from the “border tensions”.
“Why are the authorities terrified? Do they think that by such steps they will be able to prevent us from obtaining the necessary information on the frontline or the army, or to hide the real state of affairs in the military? Both are true," the MP said.
“But they do not take into account one thing. Those who really try to study and understand the problems in the army will definitely bypass all the obstacles artificially created by the authorities,” he added.
