MP Tigran Abrahamyan visits arrested opposition activists
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction on Wednesday visited the arrested opposition activists at a penitentiary in Artik, a municipal community in Armenia’s Shirak Province.
“I visited the Artik penitentiary to meet with our fellow political prisoners,” he wrote on Facebook.
The MP stressed the activists had done “nothing wrong for which they should be ashamed” and prosecuted.
“This tragedy will definitely end one day and the traitors will be held to account, but it is very difficult to estimate the great damage the country will have suffered before that,” Abrahamyan said.
