Armenian actor Vruyr Harutyunyan dies at 72
Celebrated Armenian screen and stage actor Vruyr Harutyunyan has passed away at the age of 72.
He was a longtime actor of Vanadzor's State Drama Theater after Hovhannes Abelyan. The actor’s death was announced by the theater on Monday.
Harutyunyan played in around 50 performances and appeared in numerous films, including “The Road to David of Sassoun”, “Burning Lantern”, “Don't Be Afraid”, “Interrupted Childhood” and others.
He also appeared in TV series and was honored with awards and certificates for his roles.
