Azerbaijan continues large-scale attack against Armenia
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remained extremely tense as of Tuesday morning, the Defense Ministry reported.
“Azerbaijan continues to use artillery, mortars, UAVs and large-caliber firearms in the directions of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris and Kapan, targeting both military and civilian infrastructure,” it said in a statement.
Positional fighting continues in some parts of the border amid the Azerbaijani militray’s attempts to advance towards Armenian territory.
The military attachés of the diplomatic corps have been briefed on the situation following the large-scale Azerbaijani aggression, the ministry said, adding the Azerbaijani military-political leadership bears the entire responsibility for the further developments.
