No alternative to peace and stability in South Caucasus, EU's Michel says
Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with President of the European Council Charles Michel on the latest Azerbaijani aggression, the Armenian prime minister’s office reported.
“The prime minister presented in detail the situation created as a result of the aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia,” the readout of the call said.
“Charles Michel noted that there is no alternative to peace and stability in the region and expressed readiness to make efforts to prevent further escalation,” the statement added.
