No significant incidents recorded on Armenian-Azeri border overnight
No significant incidents were recorded on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border overnight, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday morning.
Earlier on Wednesday, the ministry said that fighting almost stopped in all border sections at 8pm local time.
In his televised remarks shortly after midnight, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced that Yerevan and Baku had agreed a ceasefire brokered by the international community.
“Let’s hope that Azerbaijan will continue to respect the ceasefire,” he told the Public TV Company.
