Artsakh FM pays working visit to U.S.
Foreign Minister David Babayan of the Artsakh Republic started a working visit to the U.S. on Thursday September 15.
Babayan visited the Armenian Embassy in Washington on Friday to meet with the embassy staff, the Artsakh Foreign Ministry reported.
Issues related to regional developments, promotion of the interests of Artsakh in the U.S. and cementing the Armenian trinity were discussed.
“On the same day, the minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Armenian Assembly of America headed by Executive Director Bryan Ardouny. A wide range of issues related to the homeland-Diaspora relations and recent regional developments were discussed,” the ministry said.
Babayan highly appreciated the role of the Armenian Assembly of America in the development of Artsakh and promotion of the interests of the people of Artsakh.
Artsakh’s Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Lernik Hovhannisyan and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Artsakh to the U.S. and Canada Robert Avetisyan participated in the meetings.
