Azerbaijan hands over bodies of 95 more soldiers to Armenia
Azerbaijan has handed over the bodies of 95 more servicemen to Armenia, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan confirmed to Panorama.am, without giving further details.
The bodies were handed over to Armenia through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
"The process of handing over the bodies of Armenian servicemen will continue," the Azerbaijani media said, recalling that Baku handed over the bodies of 32 service personnel to Armenia last week.
In a statement on Monday, the Security Council of Armenia said that the number of those killed or missing in the latest large-scale military aggression by Azerbaijan reached 207.
"As a result of the aggression, the number of victims and missing persons reaches 207, including 3 civilians were killed, the whereabouts of 2 civilians are unknown, 293 servicemen and 7 civilians were wounded, 20 servicemen were captured. There is evidence of torture, mutilation and thereby unlawful killing of captured or killed Armenian servicemen by Azerbaijanis," the statement said.
