Pashinyan put Armenia's sovereign territory 'up for auction' in UN, MP says
Senior opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan weighed in on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly on Thursday night.
"In his speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the leader of Armenia's ruling political team, apart from raising a large number of issues, actually put the sovereign territory of Armenia up for auction, urging Aliyev to present a complete list of his territorial claims,” the deputy wrote on Facebook.
“This speech indicates that Azerbaijan has increased its territorial claims and other demands, which now include not only the corridor and the so-called enclaves, let alone Artsakh.
“Through an era of wars, the current authorities have brought the country to a point where the Armenian people simply have no choice, while the struggle for existence is between concessions that will cause irreparable damage to Armenia and a new destructive war,” Abrahamyan said.
