Azerbaijan asks ECHR for more time to provide info about Armenian prisoners
Azerbaijan has asked the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to extend the deadline for providing complete information about Armenian prisoners of war (POWs), the office of Armenia's representative on international legal matters reports.
"In response to a number of requests for interim measures against Azerbaijan lodged by the Armenian government with the ECHR, the Azerbaijani government has requested additional time from the European Court to provide complete information about the prisoners of war,” it said in statement on Monday.
“The request has been granted by the court. The new deadline set for Azerbaijan is September 29," the office added.
