EU envoy: Security is only truly possible if borders are respected
Toivo Klaar, the European Union's special representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, has reacted to Azerbaijan's gross ceasefire violation which left three Armenian soldiers dead on Wednesday.
“Today there were again reports of three soldiers killed and one wounded. These and many other senseless victims feed hate and instability,” the EU envoy tweeted.
“Security is only truly possible if borders are respected and troops don’t face each other at close distances. Peace cannot be forced,” he said.
