Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border unchanged
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remained unchanged as of Thursday morning, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
“As of 11am September 29, no change in the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has been recorded,” the statement said.
Azerbaijani forces shelled Armenian positions in the eastern border section in a fresh ceasefire violation on Wednesday evening, killing three Armenian soldiers.
The Armenian army returned the fire.
The exchange of gunfire largely stopped by 10pm, the Defense Ministry said.
