World-class musicians Joseph Calleja and Gil Shaham to perform in Yerevan
World-renowned musicians Joseph Calleja (tenor) and Gil Shaham (violin) will share the stage with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in Yerevan on the sidelines of the Armenia International Music Festival.
The concert is scheduled to be held at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on October 5.
The program features John Ter-Tatevosian's Lyric Poem, Violin Concerto in B-minor by Alexey Shor, Pablo de Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy for violin and orchestra, Op. 25, as well as opera arias by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini.
The conductor is Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
