Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border unchanged – Defense Ministry
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remained unchanged as of Friday morning, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
“As of 9am September 30, no change in the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has been recorded. The situation is relatively stable,” the statement said.
Azerbaijani forces shelled Armenian positions in the eastern border section in a fresh ceasefire violation on Wednesday evening, killing three Armenian soldiers.
The Armenian military returned the fire.
