Former MP: Azeri envoy cites Pashinyan's Artsakh statement
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev has cited Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest statement on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in a tweet, former opposition MP Naira Zohrabyan said on Facebook on Saturday, sharing the post.
The envoy quoted Pashinyan as saying at an interview to the Public TV Company on Friday: “No country is ready to recognize the independence of Karabakh and no country is ready to recognize Karabakh as a part of Armenia. We have to face this fact.”
“However, Aliyev admitted in 2016 that he was pressured into recognizing Artsakh's independence behind closed doors,” Zohrabyan underlined.
