Artsakh is a “shield” that has protected Armenia for centuries and ensured the security of the Armenian people, Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan claims.
“Artsakh is indeed very heavy. This is a shield that has protected Armenia for centuries and ensured the security of the Armenian people. And a shield must be heavy,” he wrote on Facebook on Monday.
“Moreover, Artsakh is not only a military-strategic and geopolitical shield, but also a moral and value shield. But can such a heaviness be a burden? A nation who considers the shield a burden is doomed, and history knows many such examples,” Babayan said.
