Legendary cellist Mischa Maisky to perform in Yerevan
Legendary cellist Mischa Maisky will share the stage with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra at an upcoming concert in Yerevan.
The concert is scheduled to be held at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall on October 8.
It is held as part of the Armenia International Music Festival co-organized by the Symphony Orchestra and the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC).
The concert program features Suite from the opera “The Golden Cockerel” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Ottorino Respighi’s Adagio con variazioni for cello and orchestra and Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme for cello and orchestra.
