Hotels reopen in Armenian spa town nearly 20 days after Azeri attack
Hotels have reopened in the spa town of Jermuk in Armenia's Vayots Dzor Province after nearly 20-day hiatus.
Jermuk was among the Armenian border settlements hit hardest by the Azerbaijani military aggression on 13-14 September. Azeri forces delivered drone strikes on the resort town.
The Jermuk Tourism Development Center reports that the town hotels have resumed their operations after nearly 20 days of suspension.
"We should work hard, develop the economy and tie people to their land in order to have a strong army, secure borders and a prosperous life. The Armenian army needs a strong home front,” Visit Jermuk said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
