Azerbaijan trying to justify atrocities against Armenian soldiers – Defense Ministry
The Armenian Defense Ministry refutes the reports that Yerevan has handed over the bodies of six killed troops to Baku.
"In an effort to find some explanations for the gruesome viral video showing the executions of unarmed Armenian soldiers by Azerbaijani troops, the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan has released an absurd statement suggesting “the bodies of 6 Azerbaijani soldiers who were tortured to death by the Armenian servicemen featured in the video” have been handed over to Azerbaijan,” the ministry said in a statement.
“Instead of accepting the condemnations and calls for investigation by almost the entire civilized world, Baku is trying to find justifications for the appalling atrocities committed by its soldiers,” the statement said.
