Artsakh officials' meetings with Armenian authorities a 'waste of time', says opposition MP
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction called the continued meetings of Artsakh’s officials with the Armenian authorities a “waste of time and self-deception”.
"Official delegations from Artsakh continue visits to Armenia for meetings with [Prime Minister Nikol] Pashinyan and his teammates in an apparent effort to adjust positions and learn the details of the negotiations over Artsakh," he wrote on Facebook on Friday.
“This is a pointless initiative, a waste of time and self-deception. The Armenian authorities have already expressed their position on the Artsakh conflict and are unconcerned about the fate of the Artsakh people.
“Holding meetings/discussions with those who have lowered the bar on the Artsakh status and who see Artsakh as an integral part of Azerbaijan in the future is not only incomprehensible but also dangerous,” the deputy underscored.
