Government critic Edgar Ghazaryan attacked near his home
Political activist Edgar Ghazaryan, who is highly critical of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration as well as the opposition, has been assaulted by two unknown men near his home.
“Edgar Ghazaryan has undergone a medical checkup in Erebuni Medical Center. His injuries are not life-threatening,” former MP Naira Zohrabyan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
She said Ghazaryan had suffered a head injury.
“Doctors assure that everything will be fine. According to preliminary information, Edgar was attacked by two unknown men near the entrance of his house," she added.
