MP Abrahamyan: Security officials spend more time justifying 'their failures'
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction blasted security officials from Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party for constant attempts to justify “their failures and colossal losses” instead of carrying our major reforms in the sector.
“In their speeches, the ruling team members in charge of the security system devote more time to justification of their failures, colossal losses and blame-shifting than to reforms in the security system or to substantive tasks,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday.
“Even when they talk about their plans, the latter are either abstract or simply amount to good wishes.
“They talk for hours, days and months about topics they have no idea about. Moreover, even if they really want to, they do not have the necessary will and the capacity for such reforms. Having been in power for 4-5 years now, they are shunning responsibility even for that period.
“They have confused security reforms with a race for language twists, lies and falsehoods Most importantly, they refuse to take responsibility for huge human and territorial losses,” the MP said.
