Armenia's wine production falls in eight months
Armenia’s wine production declined in the first eight months of this year, according to the latest figures from the Statistical Committee.
The wine output stood at 6 million 985.3 thousand liters in January-August 2022, down by 12.6% from the same months of 2021, the statistics show.
Meanwhile, Armenia saw an 7.9% increase in the production of sparkling wines which amounted to 405.2 thousand liters in the first eight months.
The country produced 21 million 569.6 thousand liters of beer this year, up by 2.1% from the past year.
