Armenian, Russian and Azeri leaders may meet later this month
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev may meet in Russia for trilateral talks hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian daily Vedomosti reported on Monday, citing a diplomatic source.
The source said preparations for such a meeting began after Putin's speech at a CIS summit in Kazakhstan on October 14, where “territorial disputes” between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed.
Another Vedomosti source said such talks could take place in late October, with Moscow and Sochi considered the main venues. "Most likely, the choice will fall on Sochi," he said.
