Zatulin's office to comment on reports of his Armenia entry ban later
The office of Russian politician Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, will comment on reports of his ban from Armenia later on Tuesday, his spokesman said.
“Konstantin Zatulin is taking part in an event and cannot reply to any questions at the moment,” the spokesman told Panorama.am, adding a comment on his rumored ban from Armenia is likely to follow later.
Citing its sources, the Haykakan Zhamanak daily run by Nikol Pashinyan's family reported earlier that Zatulin was declared “persona non grata” in Armenia and banned from entering the country.
The Russian politician has repeatedly blamed the Armenian authorities for Armenia’s defeat in the 2020 war with Azerbaijan.
