Azerbaijan and Turkey are actively campaigning against the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyun), ARF Armenia Chair Ishkhan Saghatelyan says.

“The ambassadors of the two Turkic countries, the experts financed by them and their lobbyists are day and night ordering articles in the world’s leading media outlets aimed at discrediting the ARF, and then spreading them on social media in an effort to limit the influence of the ARF in a number of Western countries,” he said in a statement late on Monday.

“Their concern is, of course, understandable. Baku and Ankara are well aware that the outcome of the 2020 war does not reflect the real balance of power between Armenia and Azerbaijan. They also clearly realize that the ARF and, in general, the conscious strata of society will never come to terms with the current situation and will sooner or later have Armenia back on its feet. That's why they are so concerned.

“The ARF will always stand up for the national interests of the Armenian people. No matter how much Erdogan and Aliyev campaign against the ARF, we will never deviate from our path and the mission to build a strong Armenia,” reads the statement.
