Armenian National Gallery collection enriched with another valuable exhibit
The collection of the National Gallery of Armenia has been enriched with another valuable exhibit.
Vanuhi Archian, an Armenian woman who lives in the United States, has presented the gallery with a silver men's belt made in Tiflis, the gallery reported on Wednesday.
The belt with a rectangular cylindrical buckle was made by an Armenian craftsman between the late 19th and the early 20th centuries.
“The collection of the National Gallery of Armenia, which includes over 40,000 valuable artworks, has been replenished mainly thanks to the devoted donors. The good tradition of donation has been restored in recent years,” the gallery said.
