Armenian opposition to hold fresh protest soon
The Armenian opposition will hold a fresh anti-government protest in Yerevan in the near future, MP Gegham Manukyan of the opposition Hayastan bloc said on Tuesday.
Opposition lawmakers boycotting parliament sessions were in the sessions hall for oral statements.
Speaking to reporters in the National Assembly, Manukyan said they attended the session to raise pressing issues.
“There were critical issues which had to be raised,” the deputy said.
He announced the opposition’s plans to hold a rally anytime soon.
“Street protests must be purposeful and a rally will be held in the near future," Manukyan said.
