Kremlin hopes Putin's meeting with Armenian, Azeri leaders will take place
The Kremlin expects Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday, without specifying the expected time and place of the talks, TASS reported.
"Such a trilateral meeting is being prepared, we hope it will take place," the Kremlin spokesman said. "We will give a timely update on the place and time," Peskov promised.
Earlier on Wednesday, Armenian parliament speaker Alen Simonyan said that Pashinyan planned to travel to Sochi on October 31 to meet with Putin and Aliyev. It was also earlier reported that Putin had invited Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders to Russia for another trilateral summit to discuss the whole range of trilateral and bilateral issues.
