Reporter Gayane Paytyan dies at 48
Famous Armenian reporter, TV host and lecturer Gayane Paytyan has passed away at the age of 48, her colleagues broke the news on social media on Thursday.
Paytyan was born in Yerevan on June 30, 1974. She studied journalism at the Yerevan State University from 1991 to 1996.
She authored numerous documentaries about Armenia, Artsakh, Russia, India, Iran, Georgia, Turkey, Iraq, Italy and Kuwait.
Paytyan hosted various TV programs aired on the Armenian Second TV Channel. In 2008 she founded the TV Ideal school studio.
The reporter also delivered lectures at the French University of Armenia and the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan.
