Mirzoyan and Klaar discuss Armenian-Azeri peace treaty
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Friday received Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
During the meeting, the interlocutors referred to the issues of regional security and stability, exchanged views on issues related to the elaboration of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Toivo Klaar emphasized the importance of the deployment of the EU civilian mission and touched upon its activities.
The sides also exchanged views on the unblocking of regional transport infrastructure, as well as the work of the commissions on border security and delimitation.
Mirzoyan reaffirmed the need for eliminating the consequences of Azerbaijan's recent aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, particularly the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani armed forces from Armenia's sovereign territories.
