Five Armenian boxers reach Silver Belt Series Tournament finals
Five Armenian boxers have advanced to the finals of the Silver Belt Series Tournament, an IBA World Boxing Tour event underway in Slovenia, the Armenian Boxing Federation reported on Friday.
European silver medalist Artur Bazeyan (57 kg), Artur Ghazaryan (60 kg), Narek Hovhannisyan (63.5 kg), European vice-champion Rafayel Hovhannisyan (86 kg) and European bronze medalist Narek Manasyan (92 kg) will fight for gold medals.
Four other Armenian boxers, including Baregham Harutyunyan, Gurgen Madoyan, Davit Chaloyan and Janik Sahakyan, took bronze earlier.
