Outgoing Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan says that "disagreements" have arisen with the Armenian authorities over their Artsakh-related foreign policy.

"In fact, there are numerous disagreements. There are certain contacts with different colleagues, there are successful projects, but there are also principal disagreements," Beglaryan told a news conference, summing up his activities in the minster’s capacity.

He claims disagreements have arisen over foreign policy statements and various programs related to Artsakh.

"In many cases, I try to solve these problems in the internal working environment as I attach importance to effective communication between the Artsakh and Armenian governments in this difficult situation," Beglaryan said.

At the same time, the minister said he has “certain disagreements and grievances” that he had repeatedly voiced out, but did not elaborate further.

"When it comes to the foreign policy, I have always expressed my stance publicly, noting that the Artsakh people’s right to self-determination cannot be put into question. I share all the statements of the president, the Foreign Ministry and the National Assembly. Therefore, from that point of view there are no issues, but there are disagreements with some colleagues," Artak Beglaryan noted.
