Brusov University enrollment tripled over past five years
Yerevan’s Brusov State University has summed up the admission results for the 2022-2023 academic year.
In a statement on Thursday, it said a total of 1,370 applicants entered the university for full-time and part-time study.
The Brusov University enrollment almost tripled over the past five years (483 students enrolled in the 2018-19 academic year).
According to the university data, as of Oct. 31, the university had 4,550 students, an unprecedented number compared to the 2018-2019 academic year, when they numbered 2,812.
The Armenian government recently unveiled plans to merge the Brusov State University with the Armenian State Pedagogical University and the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, a decision strongly opposed by the university students.
