Armenia among top 5 CIS countries for winter tourism
The TourStat agency has ranked Armenia among the five most popular and attractive CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries for winter tourism and recreation.
The rating of the CIS countries is based on their popularity among tourists and infrastructure development for tourism and recreation there.
The top five CIS countries to visit during winter holidays also include Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
In Armenia, the capital Yerevan and ski resort Tsaghkadzor attract most tourists in winter.
