Life of Armenian soldier wounded in Azeri shooting not in danger
The Armenian soldier severely injured in a ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan on Thursday is in stable condition after successfully undergoing surgery, Defense Ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan says.
The private, identified only by initials of his name as P.Kh., was wounded as Azerbaijani forces opened fire at his military post in the eastern border section on Thursday morning. He was said to be in critical condition.
“The wounded soldier has successfully undergone surgery in the military hospital,” Torosyan told Panorama.am on Friday. “His life is out of danger at this point. He is kept under close medical supervision.”
