Armenian FM offers condolences to Turkish counterpart over Istanbul bombing
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has offered condolences to his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu over the deadly explosion in Istanbul.
“I express my sincere condolences to the families of victims of the deadly explosion in Istanbul and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he said in a tweet on Monday, tagging the Turkish FM.
At least six people were killed and 81 others wounded in Sunday’s explosion on Istiklal Avenue, a popular thoroughfare lined with shops and restaurants that leads to the iconic Taksim Square. A suspect has now been arrested, the interior minister said.
I express my sincere condolences to the families of victims of the deadly explosion in #Istanbul and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. @MevlutCavusoglu
