Three new Armenian opposition MPs swear in
Three new deputes from Armenia’s opposition Hayastan and Pativ Unem blocs took the oath of office at a parliament session on Tuesday.
Citing a decision of the Central Electoral Commission, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan said Pativ Unem’s Martun Grigoryan and Hayastan’s Argishti Gevorgyan and Garnik Danielyan were to take up the vacant parliament seats.
They will replace former MPs Artur Vanetsyan of the Pativ Unem faction, Artur Ghazinyan and Mkhitar Zakaryan of the Hayastan faction who resigned earlier this year.
