Armenian government OKs one-time aid to soldiers affected by latest Azeri aggression
The Armenian government has endorsed a draft decision to provide one-time financial assistance to servicemen affected in the mid-September Azerbaijani aggression.
Under the decision approved at Thursday’s cabinet meeting, soldiers who have been injured or have developed mental health problems as a result of the 13-14 September military aggression, will receive 500,000 drams in one-time aid, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said on Friday.
The assistance will be provided to those who have received hospital care, are not involved in a disability group or have (could have) a third degree of disability.
The financial assistance will be provided by the Unified Social Service of the ministry based on the online applications of beneficiaries to be submitted via its website until December 15.
