Armenian Church celebrates All Saints Day
The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of All Saints, also called All Saints Day, on Saturday 19 November.
The day commemorates all the saints of the church, both known and unknown, who have attained heaven. It is celebrated on November 1 in the Western churches.
“Many people have been subjected to severe torments and have been martyred during the wars for the sake of faith. Unfortunately, we do not know their names. So the Church has established this feast in the Church Calendar in order to pay respects to their memory. They are persons who shed their blood for the sake of Christ and his church,” Qahana.am reports.
