Rep. Pallone: U.S. cannot trust Turkey with military equipment
U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone has condemned Turkish airstrikes in northern Syria and Iraq on Sunday which also targeted civilian infrastructure, reiterating the need to block the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Turkey.
“Erdogan bombed civilian infrastructure, including a hospital. This is yet another reason why I am working to block the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Turkey,” he said in a tweet on Monday.
“Erdogan's pattern of aggression shows that we cannot trust him with U.S. military equipment,” Rep. Pallone added.
