Angry women tried to avenge brutal murder of their fellows in Armenian village
A group of five women attempted to set fire to the house of a man accused of brutally killing a young woman and her two children in Pemzashen, a village in Armenia’s Shirak Province, late on Sunday.
One of the women broke the window pane of Vruyr Barseghyan’s house with a metal rod, but police officers working around the clock in the village prevented further action.
"They were taken to the police station and sent to the investigation department afterwards," the police told Panorama.am.
The bodies of a 31-year-old woman and her two children were found in their home in Pemzashen on November 9. Barseghyan and his fellow villager Arkady Barseghyan have been charged as part of a criminal probe into the case. The suspects have been arrested pending investigation.
