MP: Azerbaijan continues its policy of spurring tensions on border with Armenia, Artsakh
Azerbaijan continues with its policy of spurring tensions on the border with Armenia and Artsakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition Pativ Unem faction, said on Tuesday, referring to the recent ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani forces.
“They [the ceasefire breaches] are not yet intensive, however Azerbaijan is obviously ‘warming up’,” he wrote on Facebook.
The deputy criticized Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration for failure to counter Azerbaijan’s policy.
“Amid [Azerbaijan’s] ceasefire violations and an aggressive information campaign, coupled with fake news and threats, as well as certain movements in different parts of the frontline, the only thing that Nikol and his team do is to provide "justifications" to all that Artsakh is Azerbaijan,” Abrahamyan said.
“Even the Azerbaijanis are surprised by Nikol’s commitment to the Azerbaijani propaganda and dream,” he added.
